It’s beginning to look alot like Christ-mas….eeehh- vry- where you go…. (are you singing along in your head yet??) I am so excited about the upcoming holidays! That is why I am thrilled to share with you four cards today. So, let’s take a look!
Perfectly Plaid card
The first card features the Perfectly Plaid suite and our Gold Foil-Edged cards and envelopes. I stamped the plaid trees with Night of Navy first, and then added some trees punched from the Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper. The “Merry Christmas” was stamped in Cherry Cobbler and then punched out with the Story Label punch. Layer it on a gold foil oval and place it on top of a piece of Shaded Spruce ribbon. Super simple and fun card!
Christmas Cardinal card
Don’t you just love this cardinal??? This card features the Toile Tidings suite. I stamped the cardinal and then colored him with Stampin’ Blends. I just adore how these markers give you all the shading possibilities. The card base is Real Red with a Very Vanilla layer on top. I then used the Toile Tidings Designer Series Paper to add a quilt block look. The bird and the banner were stamped with Memento ink and cut out with the coordinating Christmas Cardinal dies. Another fun card with a different look.
God’s Light and Peace card
Oh how I adore how this card turned out. The God’s Peace and Light and Peace stamp sets work beautifully together. I wanted to stay with an earthy look, so I used Gray Granite, Early Espresso, and Very Vanilla. It is difficult to see in the photo, but I also used some Wink of Stella to accent the shepherd, star, and sheep. Braided Linen Trim gives it the perfect finishing touch!
So Many Stars card
(Shhhhh….don’t tell anyone, but this one is my favorite!) I LOVE the color purple and Blackberry Bliss is one of the richest purples we have had. Our new Delicata metallic ink pads are also scrumptious. The base of this one is Thick Very Vanilla. I stamped the small stars in gold metallic ink on the background. I then used the Nesting Labels dies to cut my focal point and stamped the sentiment in Blackberry Bliss ink. The Stitched Stars dies cut out the focal star and the swirl piece easily and I placed them all as desired. All in all, an easy card with a shiny effect!
