Happy Fall Y’all!! Well…..almost. Here in the South it is still very green and VERY HOT! So, I really enjoyed getting to sit down and focus on one of my favorite seasons- FALL. The colors that spring forth during those precious months are simply inspiring. I decided for this hop to reach for an older set and have some fun with my Stamparatus! Here is my creation for you:
Are these colors just luscious?? The layout is one I saw on Pinterest from Frenchie Martin, then I ran with it! I started with a base of Thick Very Vanilla cardstock in keeping with the warmth of my chosen colors. The rectangle stitched framelits made cutting the layers a breeze. The Early Espresso layer and the Tree piece are both the same size. I used the Crackle Paint background stamp to give the “tree trunk” texture to the Early Espresso piece. The two different leaf stamps from the Rooted in Nature stamp set added the perfect background for the Cajun Craze layer. Next came the tree….
I pulled out my Stamparatus so that I could repeatedly stamp the same tree over and over again and keep it lined up perfectly. I started with the Early Espresso marker for the trunk and branches. Then, I used daubers dabbed on one color ink pad and then directly onto the stamp. I repeated with each of the colors until I had the desired look and saturation. Love, love, LOVE the Stamparatus for making this so easy and fast!! Next, I slightly drug some daubers across the bottom for the ground.
Add some sparkle? Yes, please!
The tree needed a little something extra, so I reached for my new Delicata Copper ink pad!! These metallic pads are simply amazing- the inks are vivid, they dry quickly, and they can be used in many different ways! I used another dauber to add some sparkle to the tree…and then I decided to drag it all over the vanilla piece!
Can you see the shimmer?? The finishing touches were stamping the words and cutting them apart. I attached them with glue dots for ease and to give them the slightest bit of dimension. I also added one of our copper Leaves Trinkets. For the inside, I simply stamped a cascade with the colors from light to dark and using the stamping-off technique.
I hope that you enjoyed this little Fall card. It turned out to have this masculine feel to it so I need to choose who to send it to! Please continue hopping along with us by clicking on the next name on the list- and I hope those crisp, cool, autumn breezes find us all very soon.

Charity, this is beautiful!!! I absolutely love everything about it!!! You have remained me why I live this set so much!!
Suck a beautiful card, Charity! Beautiful stamping of the tree and I love how it is the focal point. The messaging is really special too!
Such a lovely card Charity. Love how you have stamped the tree in all the different colours – never thought of doing this using the stamparatus before – something I need to try.
