Heartwarming Hugs Gift Ideas!
Last weekend, I had a blast with my annual Giftables class. We created 8 fun projects and I wanted to share them with you in case you need any last minute ideas for gifts. The Heartwarming Hugs suite of products was a wonderful foundation for the class. Here are the projects:
The first is the famous cup carrier with two of the coffee cups…all decorated of course! The coordinating DSP makes this project super easy and fast. The dies that cut the cup wraps perfectly are wonderful and the felt heart added a sweet touch to the tag. You can fill the cups with all kinds of goodies. My plan is hot chocolate mix in one with marshmallows and peppermint stir sticks in the other.
The first gift is a cover for a box of Christmas M&Ms with a pouch on the front for a gift card. The two tins are from Stampin’ Up! and the DSP once again takes center stage. These projects feature the Wrapped in Christmas stamp set as well as the Warm Hugs set.
This is one of my favorites! It is a recycled Hint bottle filled with Hershey’s Kisses for the holidays. Decorated with some DSP and a sweet sentiment, it makes a great happy little gift.
This little stack of boxes is an idea from Ronda Wade. The boxes are simply scored at 2″ on all sides for the bases and 1″ on all sides for the tops. We also made this set of four coordinating tags as well. Fun and easy gift! One fun thing is that the bottom white box base is the white backing from the DSP package. It provides a nice sturdy shiny base!
Something a little different…
The final project left the Heartwarming Hugs suite and employed the gorgeous Poinsettia Place suite. We used three different colors of red cardstocks to create the dimensional effect on the flower. We also sponged the edges to add depth. By embossing the words with silver and using some silver sprigs, it all tied together with the Beaded Pearls embellishments! Stack each layer of the poinsettia with dimensionals and it creates a beautiful 3D flower. The Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper adds the perfect backdrop.
I hope you enjoyed these projects and that you have a wonderful Christmas with your family and friends (as COVID friendly as possible 🙂 ) May God bless you real big!
