I am so excited about an event Saturday and this is the swap I designed for it! These precious little snow people are just adorable, and the glitter on the Designer Series Paper adds the right amount of bling! Here is how the card opens:
How to make it-
This is a great fun fold for a card and fairly easy to achieve. Here are the basic instructions with some tips!
1- Cut card base to 4 1/4″ x 11″. With the long side at the top, score at 2 3/8″ and at 6 3/4″.
2- Cut out your shape (doesn’t have to be a circle) being careful to center it over the score mark at 2 3/8.
Hint- to cut your shape perfectly, cut one out of some scrap paper and fold it in half. Place inside the die or punch that you are using and mark it. Place your card inside and line up the score line with the marks you made. I used the circle dies and here is how I marked them:
Now, have fun decorating the rest of your card! When you choose your shapes to nest, be sure and leave some space between the card opening and your piece so that it can move freely when opening your card. I punched my snowmen from the DSP with the 2 1/4″ circle punch. Then, I layered them on a piece of Real Red that I cut with a smaller circle die. Remember to be careful when adhering the circle to your card! Only put adhesive on the bottom half.
I had so much fun putting these together! Here is a glimpse at the other two where I coordinated the ink color and snowflake piece matte to match their scarf or hat.
Hope you enjoyed my fun little swap! You can see the other fun products in this suite HERE. Thanks for looking-
